YP Numbering: All numbers from YP/40-R1/26 to YP/58-R1/26 have not been used in this notice. Only those vacancy circulars (VCs) that were actually notified are listed here, and any missing numbers have been deliberately omitted.
How to Apply
  1. 1 Go to the RITES Career section and locate the exact VC number. Similar job titles appear in different notices, so start with the VC rather than the designation.
  2. 2 Open that notification and check the qualification, required experience, age cut-off, reservation details and posting conditions before starting the form.
  3. 3 Where online registration is prescribed, create or use the RITES applicant account, select the correct VC and keep the generated registration number safely.
  4. 4 Upload only the documents asked for in that notice. Qualification, experience, category and salary/CTC claims should match the supporting records you can produce.
  5. 5 Pay the application fee only if the chosen advertisement asks for it. Consultant, retired-professional and deputation notices do not all follow the regular recruitment fee pattern.
  6. 6 For retired-expert and deputation vacancies, follow the additional email, Expert Registration or proper-channel instructions mentioned in the relevant circular.
  7. 7 After submission, save the application and payment proof where applicable. Check the RITES Career page again for corrigenda, test dates, interview schedules and results.
Educational Qualification & Experience
VC / Group Qualification & Experience
RG/16/26–RG/18/26 These senior metro posts call for the relevant Civil Engineering or Architecture qualification together with substantial experience in rail-based urban transit work. Depending on whether the post is GM, JGM or DGM and on the discipline, the experience requirement falls in the roughly 11–19 year range.
RG/19/26–RG/24/26 Requirements vary by VC. RG/19 combines Civil Engineering, a Structural Engineering postgraduate qualification and 11 years of experience; RG/20 carries the Civil + Structural route with 2 years; RG/21 combines Civil Engineering with a Public Health postgraduate qualification and BIM/PHE exposure. The architecture VCs require B.Arch plus experience relevant to healthcare, buildings or metro-rail design.
RG/25/26–RG/29/26 A full-time Civil Engineering degree is the common base. The DGM Contract Specialist post requires 11 years, Manager posts 5 years and Assistant Manager posts 2 years of relevant experience, with the work profile matched to contracts, highway design or structural/bridge design as applicable.
RG/30/26 Requires a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of post-qualification work covering airport planning, airfield pavement design and detailed-estimate preparation.
RG/31/26–RG/34/26 These DGM posts carry an 11-year post-qualification experience requirement. The disciplines include long-span bridge design, railway alignment, geophysics and tunnel engineering; the required degree or postgraduate specialization differs by VC.
RG/35/26–RG/45/26 Manager posts generally require 5 years and Assistant Manager posts 2 years after the prescribed Civil Engineering qualification. Certain design VCs also ask for a Structural Engineering postgraduate qualification or specific software/domain exposure, so the specialization must be checked against the chosen VC.
RG/26-R1/25–RG/28-R1/25 These posts cover ports, waterways and coastal-modelling work. The Senior Manager vacancy has the higher experience requirement, while the Assistant Manager vacancies call for the notified engineering background together with relevant port, waterway or coastal-modelling experience.
RG/18-R3/25 Requires a full-time Civil Engineering degree plus a postgraduate qualification in Structural, Ocean, Marine/Coastal or a related field. The notice calls for 11 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in marine or coastal design.
RG/46/26 Requires a Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering branch along with a full-time two-year MBA or equivalent in Finance or a related specialization, plus 2 years of relevant experience in PPP or asset-monetisation advisory work.
YP/59-R1/26 The notice accepts the specified Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Public Health or Biotechnology engineering/science backgrounds with the required postgraduate qualification. Relevant experience begins at the 8-year level in wastewater, sewage or sludge-related work.
YP/60-R1/26 Requires the specified engineering/science qualification with the relevant postgraduate credential and senior-level experience connected with standards or specifications for wastewater, sewage, sludge or solid-waste systems.
YP/15-R1/25 Requires the specified engineering/science qualification plus MBA/PG Management or equivalent, together with senior experience in procurement, tendering, contracts or related infrastructure/waste-sector work.
CP/14/26 A full-time Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication is accepted. Diploma holders need 10 years and degree holders 4 years, including at least 2 years of work with metro rolling-stock PAPIS installation, commissioning, maintenance or supervision.
CP/15/26 & CP/16/26 CP/15 is for Instrumentation and needs the prescribed Electrical/Instrumentation background with bridge-instrumentation and monitoring exposure. CP/16 is for Civil and focuses on bridge inspection, structural assessment, rehabilitation, SHMS/NDT and related assignments.
YP/40-R1/26–YP/58-R1/26 The consultant VCs span Civil and Mining Engineering, Geology, IT, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Civil/Survey diploma backgrounds. Required experience is roughly 5–20 years depending on the role; INFRACON conditions apply where the notice specifically asks for them.
45/26(E)–49/26(E) These openings are for retired Railway/PSU professionals from the notified Civil, S&T or Electrical backgrounds with senior project, design or contract experience for the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor assignment.
54/26(E)–62/26(E) These notices seek retired Railway/PSU officials from Civil, P-Way, Bridge, Works, TRD/OHE and S&T streams. The required retired grade and maintenance experience differ from one VC to another.
19/26(D) Open to eligible Mechanical JE/SSE/Group-B/Jr. Scale officials who meet the prescribed qualification and have at least 8 years of ALCO diesel-electric locomotive maintenance experience for the African-site assignments.
20/26(D) For IRTS officers: the GM requirement is Selection Grade with less than 18 years of Group-A service, while the GGM requirement follows the senior grade and service condition stated in the vacancy circular.
Before Applying: You can use this table to quickly match your qualifications, but be sure to carefully review the qualification and experience clauses in your VC notice for final confirmation. This is because the required degree, specialization, or work experience requirements may vary across institutions, even for seemingly similar positions.
Selection Process
There is no single selection process for all positions in this recruitment update. Regular positions such as Manager and Assistant Manager will be filled through a written exam and interview, while senior positions will require candidates to be shortlisted and then called for an interview. Consultant positions will be filled through a document verification process followed by an interview. Selection for retired or deputation positions will be based on the process specified in the notification. Therefore, the tentative written exam dates listed above should only be considered valid for the vacancy(s) to which they apply.

FAQs
Does one RITES application cover every VC number?
No. Treat each VC as a separate recruitment notice. Use the application route and documents prescribed for the exact VC you are applying against.
Why does the category-wise table total 67 instead of 106?
The 67 figure covers only the verified regular vacancies that have a comparable vertical category breakup. Other consultant, retired-professional, contractual and deputation vacancies are counted in the overall 106 but not in that reservation table.
Do consultant, retired-professional and deputation posts follow the regular online process?
Not always. Some use different registration, email, Expert Registration or proper-channel requirements. Follow the instructions printed in the relevant notice rather than copying the process of a regular RG vacancy.
What is the position of VC No. 21/26(D)?
Its exact official vacancy record could not be matched reliably during this check. It has therefore been kept outside the 106-post count instead of adding an unverified vacancy or date.
Candidate Final Check

Before submitting your application, you should carefully check the VC number, post name, closing date, and required qualifications and experience provided in the RITES notification. If any of this information doesn't match, immediately reopen the original advertisement and verify. Furthermore, be sure to check the official RITES Career Page (website) at the end, as the department often issues last-minute corrigendums or schedule updates.

Source & Verification
All information regarding vacancies, opening dates, and eligibility criteria provided in this post has been thoroughly verified and compared with the Careers section of the official RITES website and the associated official recruitment documents (VC numbers). To maintain accuracy, positions or information for which we cannot find any official record have been excluded from this list rather than added based on our own guesswork.
