Editorial Policy
This policy explains who controls our coverage, how information is prepared, and the standards applied before and after publication.
Applies to Vacancy Vaani content
01Purpose and scope
Vacancy Vaani publishes recruitment and career-related information for an Indian audience. This policy applies to job updates, examination notices, result and admit-card information, explanatory pages, tables, tools, graphics and other editorial material controlled by the website.
Our purpose is to make source material easier to navigate while preserving the reader’s need to consult the official notification. This policy describes an editorial approach, not a promise that every page will contain every available fact or remain error-free.
02Editorial authority and coverage
Vacancy Vaani retains final control over topic selection, research depth, headline, wording, order, design, update frequency, placement, monetisation, correction, removal and archiving. Coverage is based on relevance, source quality, reader usefulness, available resources and editorial priorities.
- We may cover one recruitment notice and not another.
- We may summarise, combine, split, delay, shorten or discontinue coverage.
- We may refuse a request that lacks evidence, falls outside our focus or creates unreasonable legal, technical or editorial risk.
- No advertiser, applicant, department, employer or reader receives a right to dictate ordinary editorial treatment.
03Research and verification
Where reasonably available, we prefer official notifications, recruitment portals, department websites, government publications and direct authority updates. Key facts may be checked across multiple parts of a notice or portal before publication. Secondary reporting, verified official social accounts and reader tips may help identify a development, but they do not automatically become the controlling source.
More detail about source ranking and checks appears in our Sources & Verification Policy.
04Original writing, quotation and attribution
We aim to create an original, useful presentation rather than reproduce another publisher’s article. Public facts may be selected and reorganised; limited source wording may be quoted where accuracy or context makes that appropriate. Links or source names may be provided where useful, legally required or editorially appropriate.
Official forms, notices, names, dates, vacancy figures and statutory language may necessarily resemble the source. That does not permit a third party to copy Vacancy Vaani’s original explanations, layouts, graphics or compilations without permission or another lawful basis.
05Human review and technology assistance
Technology may assist with document comparison, data arrangement, translation support, spelling, calculations, formatting, link checks or drafting workflow. It may also help identify possible inconsistencies for editorial review. The use of a tool does not transfer responsibility for publication to that tool.
Substantive pages are intended to receive editorial review before publication. The editor may rewrite, verify, reject or remove machine-assisted material. We do not treat unreviewed automated output as a sufficient source for a recruitment claim.
06Accuracy, updates and archives
We make reasonable efforts to present information accurately at the time of editorial review, but recruitment information can change quickly. Authorities may revise dates, vacancies, eligibility, fees, links or procedures without direct notice to us. Updates may therefore be selective or delayed.
Spelling, formatting, grammar or non-material clarity changes may be made without a separate notice.
A significant factual correction may receive a note or updated date when we consider that useful.
Older pages may remain available for reference, be marked outdated, redirected, combined or removed. Continued availability does not create an ongoing duty to update the page indefinitely. See the Correction Policy.
07Independence, advertising and conflicts
Vacancy Vaani may display advertising or enter clearly identified commercial arrangements. Advertising supports website operations but does not itself establish endorsement, partnership or editorial approval. Advertisers do not acquire a right to favourable ordinary coverage.
If a material sponsorship, affiliate relationship or other commercial interest could reasonably affect how a specific item is understood, we may provide a disclosure appropriate to the context. We may reject commercial material that conflicts with our standards, audience or legal responsibilities.
08External links and voluntary submissions
External links are provided for convenience, evidence or further action. Their availability, security, content and privacy practices remain outside our control. A link does not guarantee that the destination is official, current, safe or endorsed; readers should independently confirm the domain before sharing information or paying a fee.
A person who voluntarily submits text, documents, images, tips or other material for possible publication confirms that they have authority to do so. Unless separate written terms apply, the sender grants Vacancy Vaani a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to review, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, archive and remove the submitted material for website-related purposes. Submission does not guarantee publication, credit, payment or confidentiality.
09Policy decisions and changes
Vacancy Vaani interprets and applies this policy in good faith using its editorial judgement. We may update the policy when our workflow, technology, services, risks or legal obligations change. The revised version applies when published unless a later effective date is stated.
Questions may be sent through the Contact Us page. A message does not suspend publication or require a response, correction or removal unless applicable law provides otherwise.
