Selection Process & Test Structure
Stage Marks Minimum Qualifying Marks
Written Examination 25 10
Skill Test 25 10
Viva Voce 50 20
This exam stage will consist of a total of 50 marks, for which you will have 60 minutes (1 hour). This 50 mark paper is divided into two parts: a written test and a skill test. The written section will consist of 25 objective (choice) questions, and you will receive 1 mark for each correct answer.
Only those candidates who qualify both the written and skill test sections will be shortlisted for the interview (Viva), and for this, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit in a call ratio of 1:3 against the total number of vacancies. If two or more candidates have a tie on the cut-off line, no one will be excluded and all of them will be called for interview. Your final selection list will be prepared by adding the marks of both the written-cum-skill test and interview, and if the total marks of two people are equal in this final list, then the older candidate will be placed higher in the merit list (higher).
