Regular GIC exams are held in Lucknow and Prayagraj; Psychology and Criminology & Penology exams are held in Lucknow. Bring a clear printout of the call letter, two recent photographs, and a valid ID, and a photocopy wherever directed.

UPPSC released the list of candidates who passed the Mains exam on different dates, and the date given on the website is only the last date to view the list. (20 July 2026 - Sociology and Geography, 22 July 2026 - Economics Civics and Physics, 24 July 2026 - Chemistry, Mathematics, English and History, 27 July 2026 - Biology, Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit, 30 July 2026 - Psychology and Criminology & Penology results declared). A date is written in front of the notification on the website which is called "Visible Upto". This simply means the date by which the result list will be visible on the website.

🔎 Advertisement Number Clarification
Why two numbers appear :When you try to download the admit card on the official UPPSC website, the link appears to say A-6/E-1/2026. The original notification for this recruitment came in 2025, so the old list of qualifying candidates and the main advertisement also say A-6/E-1/2025. The exam is scheduled for 2025, but the Mains exam and admit card process are taking place in 2026, so the link on the website says 2026. When you open a link to download the admit card or view a notice, don't just look at the year (2025 or 2026). Be sure to read the full name on the link, such as: "LECTURER (MALE/FEMALE) GOVERNMENT INTER COLLEGE (MAINS) EXAM - 2025." If the name matches completely, then that is your correct link, even if it says A-6/E-1/2026 at the front.
