Current Position:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already released the result, final answer key and cut-off for 84 subjects for the UGC NET 2026 June session, while the re-examination for English, Commerce and Sociology subjects was conducted on 9-10 September 2026. NTA has completed the objection process on the provisional answer key for the re-examination of these three subjects, but on checking on 16 September 2026, the separate UGC NET 2026 Result for these three subjects has not appeared on the notice board, which is expected to be released soon.

Why The June Result Still Shows 84 Subjects
A total of 87 subjects were included in the June exam, of which the National Testing Agency (NTA) declared results for 84 subjects on August 28. However, separate re-exams were conducted for English, Commerce, and Sociology in September, so the result status for these three subjects is currently being tracked separately and their results will be released independently, rather than along with the other subjects.
