Current update: TNPSC Notification 07/2026 (Advertisement No. 740) is a chance to get a government job in Tamil Nadu, for which a total of 821 (Group II: 41 posts, Group IIA: 780 posts) vacancies were announced. But now the government has issued a new notice (Addendum 7A/2026) and increased the seats. Now, after the increase in seats, there will be recruitment for a total of 846 posts. These are divided into two parts: Group II: There are 43 posts. Group IIA: There are 803 posts. If you want to apply for this exam, then fill your form before 9 September 2026. If you have any mistake, you can correct it from 13 September to 15 September 2026. Prelims Exam Date: 01 November 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

🎓 TNPSC Group II / IIA 2026 – Eligibility Check
- ✓Degree requirement: A degree is enough for many entries, but not for every post. Some services add a subject, technical qualification or another post-specific condition.
- ✓Tamil requirement: Your study record or the route allowed by TNPSC must satisfy the prescribed Tamil-language condition.
- ✓Age: Do not use the common 18–32 range for every preference. A few posts start at a different minimum age or carry a separate upper-age rule.
