East Coast Railway Apprentice 2026 - Eligibility
- ✓For most trades, Class 10 under the 10+2 system with at least 50% aggregate marks is the basic school qualification.
- ✓The ITI/NTC trade entered in the form must match the trade condition shown in the notification.
- ✓The required qualification had to be completed by 21 August 2026; candidates waiting for a qualifying result do not meet that cut-off.
- ✓Engineering degree and diploma holders are covered by a different apprenticeship route and are not eligible through this notification.
- ✓Laboratory Technician (Pathology) follows the special Class 12 route with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, along with the marks condition stated for Class 10 and Class 12.
- ✓Secretarial Assistant / Stenography and COPA have their own notified certificate or basic-training conditions, so applicants should match those trade-specific requirements before choosing the trade.
RRC ECoR Apprentice 2026 - Selection Process

Training, Stipend & Medical Fitness

- 3Fill in your personal details, Aadhaar or permitted enrolment information, Class 10 marks and ITI details exactly from your records.
- 4Choose the unit and trade only after matching your qualification and the category-wise vacancy shown in Annexure-A.
- 5Upload the required photo, signature, left-thumb impression and supporting certificates in the prescribed format.
- 6If you are claiming reservation, upload the valid category documents required for that benefit, including the applicable OBC-NCL or EWS papers.
- 7Pay ₹100 online only when the fee applies to your category, then review the form before final submission.
- 8Save the registration number and final application copy. Nothing has to be posted as a hard-copy application to RRC/BBS.
