📍Training Terms
This apprenticeship will be for one year from the date of joining, and the training location is subject to change based on government requirements in your chosen state or region. You cannot pursue any other regular course or job during this training. Furthermore, please note that completing this apprenticeship does not guarantee a permanent job with POWERGRID.
🎓POWERGRID Apprentice Eligibility 2026
  • Applicants must be Indian citizens and at least 18 years old when they submit the form.
  • The required ITI, Diploma or Degree must be a full-time regular qualification from a recognised institute or university; part-time, correspondence, distance and online study modes are not accepted for these slots.
  • The final result should fall within the two-year period ending on 10 September 2026, which means the relevant result date must be between 11 September 2024 and 10 September 2026. Candidates still waiting for their result cannot apply.
  • A person who has already completed apprenticeship training, or is currently undergoing apprenticeship for any period, is not eligible for this engagement.
  • Previous job experience must not exceed one year. Applicants should choose only one region, state and trade combination because multiple applications can lead to rejection.
  • Medical fitness under the Apprentices Act is required before final engagement.
⚙️Selection Process
There will be no written examination or interview for this POWERGRID apprenticeship recruitment. Candidates will be selected solely on the basis of merit based on their qualification (degree/diploma) scores. Following this, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Final selection will be confirmed only after medical fitness, police verification, and completion of the contract on the NAPS/NATS portal.
