💵 Training Stipend, Pay and Service Bond
During the first six months of training, you will receive a stipend of ₹10,000 per month. Once you pass the final exam and begin work as a Community Health Officer (CHO), your basic salary will be fixed at ₹25,000 per month. If you are posted in a very difficult or tribal area, you will receive an additional ₹15,000. Depending on the area, your monthly earnings can range from ₹40,000 to ₹55,000. You will need to sign a bond before starting the training. Accordingly, you must work for a CHO for a minimum of three years. If you leave mid-term, you will be fined ₹1,03,000.
⚙️ Selection and Training Process
First, a list is created based on the online test (CBT) scores. Candidates' documents are verified based on the list. If the documents are found to be correct, they are assigned a six-month training center and a conditional posting. Eligible candidates must attend the six-month training, and must maintain at least 90% attendance during the training. At the end of the six-month training period, there will be an exit exam, which will be cleared in two attempts. After passing the exam, you will receive a training certificate. You will be hired on a contract basis for 11 months and 22 days. If your work is good and the project continues, your contract period may be extended.
