How The Timer Works: You must complete each section (or group) of the exam within the allotted 42 minutes. Once the time for that group (42 minutes) is over, that section will be permanently locked and the next section will appear on the screen. You cannot go back to review or correct questions from the previous group using the remaining time or the time from a subsequent group. Therefore, you must complete all the questions in that group within the allotted time.

❓ NEET PG Admit Card 2026 - FAQs
Where is the admit card download option?
Open the NEET-PG applicant login from Important Links and sign in with your registered credentials.
Can the city-intimation slip be used at the centre?
No. It only names the allotted city; the admit card carries the venue and candidate-specific directions.
Is a hall-ticket copy saved on the phone enough?
Do not depend on a digital copy at the gate. Keep the required colour printout ready.
What should I do if a detail looks incorrect?
Recheck the application record and use the official NBEMS helpdesk route before reporting to the centre.
Can I enter after 8:30 AM?
The published schedule closes entry at 8:30 AM, so plan to arrive with enough time for the checks inside.
Can I reopen an earlier question group?
No. Once a group’s 42-minute slot finishes, that part of the paper is locked.
✅ Final Candidate Checklist
Before leaving for the center, be sure to take a color printout of your admit card (with barcode or QR code) and keep a photocopy of your original photo ID card and medical registration certificate. Before leaving, carefully review the exam center address, access instructions, and your personal information provided on the admit card so you can plan your route correctly and reach the center before entry closes at 8:30 am. Remember not to bring any prohibited items (watches, phones, etc.) to the center, and pay special attention to the 42-minute question-group lock (i.e., the time limit for each section) while taking the exam.
Source & Verification: This information simply means that the NEET-PG 2026 exam dates, paper pattern, eligibility, and exam center rules have been thoroughly verified according to the official information released by NBEMS. However, your admit card will be the most important information for where you will be taking the exam or for any specific instructions. Therefore, for any final information or to check the address of your allotted center, consider your downloaded admit card as the correct one and follow its instructions.
