In this job, you will receive various benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and City Allowance (CCA) as per the post's rules. If you are selected for the post of Manager - Branch Management, your probation period will be 6 months, while for Assistant Manager - Security, it will be 2 years and for all other posts, it will be 1 year. Additionally, you will be required to sign a 3-year service bond, the amount of which is ₹2 lakh for JMGS I posts and ₹2.5 lakh for MMGS II/MMGS III posts. The scoring system for the IOB (Indian Overseas Bank) exam is quite simple: if you answer a question incorrectly, 25% (i.e., one-fourth) of the total marks will be deducted, but if you leave a question blank, no marks will be deducted. There are two stages to clear the exam—an online test and an interview. To pass the online test, general (unreserved) candidates must score at least 35% marks, and reserved (reserved) candidates must score 30%.
