IBPS Specialist Officer Eligibility 2026
Post-specific qualification must match the single Specialist Officer post selected in the form
- ✓IT Officer: Prescribed four-year Engineering/Technology degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer, IT, Electronics or related disciplines; the notified graduate plus DOEACC “B” level route is also accepted.
- ✓Agricultural Field Officer: Four-year degree in Agriculture or one of the allied fields specifically listed in the notification, including Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary, Dairy, Fisheries, Food Technology or Agricultural Engineering.
- ✓Rajbhasha Adhikari: Postgraduate degree in Hindi with English at Graduation level, or postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi at Graduation level.
- ✓Law Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Law and enrolment as an advocate with the Bar Council.
- ✓HR/Personnel Officer: Graduation plus a prescribed two-year full-time postgraduate degree/diploma in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, HR, HRD, Social Work or Labour Law.
- ✓Marketing Officer: Graduation plus a prescribed two-year full-time MBA/MMS/PGDBA/PGDBM/PGPM/PGDM with Marketing specialization.
