HPRCA 04/2026 Post-Wise Eligibility

Post-specific education requirements for the two Social Worker posts, Radiographer and Senior Laboratory Technician

  • ✓
Medical Social Worker 26006: the academic condition can be met with a postgraduate qualification in either Social Science or Sociology from a university accepted by the Central Government or Himachal Pradesh Government.
  • ✓
Psychiatric Social Worker 26007: the required master's-level study can be in Psychology or in Social Work. A separate one-year training course dealing with Substance Use Disorders is shown as desirable.
  • ✓
Senior Laboratory Technician 26012: the route includes 10+2 Science, an accepted B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification, and registration with the relevant Himachal Pradesh para-medical/allied-health council.
  • ✓
Radiographer 26009: eligibility is based on 10+2 Science, the recognised radiology/imaging qualification and registration with the concerned Himachal Pradesh allied-health authority.
  • ✓
Age: the ordinary recruitment band is 18–45 years on 1 January 2026. Any extra age benefit depends on the category and the rule applicable to the concerned post.
  • ✓
Document Verification: getting permission to sit for the test does not settle eligibility. HPRCA can later check education, professional registration, age, category and domicile records in original.
