Selected trainees undergo a 52-week training programme. During training, the stipend includes ₹50,000 basic pay, variable DA and canteen allowance; bachelor accommodation is admissible under company rules. After successful training, absorption is as Engineer in the ₹50,000–1,60,000 Grade-II pay scale, with applicable allowances and benefits. The service agreement requires five years of service after training; breach can attract recovery of actual expenses up to ₹15 lakh.
