Qualification, typing speed, nationality and the main eligibility checks

Selected candidates will get basic pay under Pay Level-4 of Group 'C', which ranges from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100.
⚙️ Delhi Police HCM Selection Process
Candidates must appear for the CBE, a written exam of 100 marks. The marks obtained in this exam are counted towards the merit list. The Typing Test, conducted on a computer, carries a maximum of 25 marks. The marks obtained in this exam are counted towards the merit list. The Computer Formatting Test: This includes basic knowledge like MS Word/Excel. Passing is the only requirement. The PE&MT test involves running and measuring. Qualifying is the only requirement; marks are not counted. Document Verification (DV): All your original certificates are checked. Medical Test: Your health and eyesight are checked. Rules for Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) candidates: Disabled candidates do not have to take the physical examination (PE&MT). They must directly appear for the Document Verification (DV) and the computer test assigned to them. Final Merit Determination: The final merit is determined by the written exam (CBE) score, the typing test score, and any bonus or incentives (such as an NCC certificate, etc.) if any.

📢 CBE Result, Cutoff and Latest Shortlist Update
The Computer Based Examination (CBE) results were announced on June 5, 2026. The initial shortlist featured 4,288 male open candidates, 587 male ESM candidates, and 2,342 female open candidates. Minimum qualifying marks stood at 40% for Unreserved/EWS, 35% for SC/ST/OBC, and 30% for Divyang/ESM, though actual cutoffs ran higher across multiple categories. On June 22, 2026, the SSC published the final answer key and marks update, accessible through July 6, 2026. An additional 51 candidates—28 male open and 23 female open—were included on June 25, 2026.
