Ex-servicemen: The relaxation (in age or other qualifications) available under the Recruitment Rules depends on the length of service you have served in the Armed Forces, and will also be supplemented by other additional relaxations as per the Recruitment Rules. In simple words, the benefits ex-servicemen receive are determined by taking into account both their service record (length of service) and the specific government rules set for that job.

Meritorious Sportspersons3% HorizontalSports reservation is applied horizontally under the notified Government orders and applicable roster.
Why Statewide Category Numbers Are Not Shown: The official documents of government recruitment do not show all the 16,347 posts together and separately according to categories like General (OC), EWS, BC or SC/ST. This is because how many seats there will be for which category, it completely depends on which department (management) the job is in, which district or zone it is in, what is the post and what is the subject. Since different rosters (reservation rules) apply at each level, it would be completely wrong and misleading to arbitrarily fix any single statewide total for the entire state.

AP Mega DSC 2025 - Eligibility Framework
Educational and professional qualifications varied for different posts, subjects and management, which were required to be completed by the last date of application and the college or course was also required to be recognized by NCTE, UGC or RCI. As far as TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is concerned, it was required only for those posts for which APTET or CTET scores were to be added in the selection merit formula; Whereas TET marks had no role in the selection formula for posts like Principal, PGT, Physical Director and PET under the Society rules.

Along with this, no interview was held in this teacher recruitment scheme, that is, the selection of the candidates has been done entirely on the basis of examination marks and fixed rules.

Final Candidate Check
You have to rely only on the original list released by the government while checking the official results of Mega DSC-2025. You should match the name of each candidate very carefully with his/her correct management, post, subject, recruitment unit and reservation category. Also, keep all the important documents and records related to selection and appointment completely safe. Most importantly, do not consider the claims of caste totals or waiting-list circulating on social media or any other informal medium as part of this recruitment, as they are not officially valid.
Source & Verification: This information is directly related to Andhra Pradesh (AP) Mega DSC 2025 Recruitment, which has been prepared based on the official notification (01 & 02/MEGA DSC-TRC-1/2025) and final selection deadline. In simple words, this is a very clear and new description of department wise vacancies, in which a total of 16,347 posts have been added on the basis of different departments (e.g. 16,347: 13,192 + 286 + 190 + 439 + 170 + 881 + 1,143 + 31 + 15.) Only those figures have been included in this which were given in the official source, hence no new numbers have been added separately at the state level according to caste or category.
